Become a master of application creation with Power tools.

Are you already friends with Power tools, but would like to upgrade the basics and create more complex applications? Join us at Power Academy II.

In the second part of Power Academy, we build an application from scratch. DataVerse for Teams will serve as our database, we will learn about the advantages and disadvantages compared to SharePoint lists.


Then we start creating an application solution step by step.


We also tackle the automation of more complex processes and the preparation of analytics with PowerBI.

COURSE OF POWER ACADEMY II

1. day (5 hours):

  • Dataverse for Teams and introduction to databases
  • Application creation (project monitoring gallery, adding numerical functions, sending e-mail, and linking to files)
  • Different views and conversation options
  • Mini analytics

Goal: Familiarization with the Power platform and preparation of an application for the end user.

2. day (5 hours):

  • We continue with the application development and testing.

Goal: Preparation of another view of the application - the administrator's view and getting to know simple forms of automation with Power Automate.

  • We continue with the application development and testing.

Goal: Preparation of another view of the application - the administrator's view and getting to know simple forms of automation with Power Automate.

4. day (5 hours):

  • Automation (approval process, notification of key stakeholders, etc.)
  • Example of a report created in Power BI
  • Power Virtual Agents - example of a simple robot

Goal: Familiarization with the Power platform and preparation of an application for the end user.

GOAL:

The goal of each part is a completed project, at the end of the Academy II, a fully prepared advanced application solution..


We learn to understand when to use which database and how to create an application from scratch (from a blank canvas).


The result of the second part of the academy is a mini business application, to which automatic workflows are linked. In the end, we also create a clear analytics with Power BI.
